I’ve been considering getting a new video camera for some time. I did my due diligence, researching reviews – both private-party and professional – as well as debating features versus price. As I’m a fan of Panasonic products, I was naturally drawn to the Panasonic brand. It just so happened that one of the generally highest rated cameras in the price and feature range I was interested in happened to be a Panasonic – model HC-V720 to be precise.
Naturally I shopped around on price and fortunately found a recently-purchased used camera in California that even had a few extras. According to the seller the camera was purchased about three months ago for a specific project and now that the project was finished the camera was no longer needed. The owner claimed it had only about ten hours of use, guaranteed it worked, was in as-new condition AND included two extra batteries.
The owner was right… the camera arrived in the original packaging, which was all intact, and included all the original equipment as well as the two batteries. I figure I saved at least 50 percent, probably considerably more when considering the two extra batteries, one high capacity, versus buying new, even online at a discount. I believe I got a great deal on a very nice camera.
From now on, all my new videos will be shot with the new camera. The included video below (shot with the old camera) describes the Panasonic camera and it’s features in some detail.
